I've always had an obsession with fashion magazines, particularly the decadent, gorgeous and glossy Bibles of the industry. WWD, W, Vogue, ELLE and Harper's Bazaar have been archived in my collection for many years.
A magazine like W is entirely aspirational. The editorial spreads are a bit edgy, and the articles and advertisements are solely written and chosen for the affluent.
I'm not a socialite, but I buy the magazine for the innovative and often controversial photography. And, of course, the huge format feels so decadent in my hands.
